Work on this fast-tracked gallium arsenide wafer (optoelectronic) manufacturing facility expansion included new class 1000 cleanrooms, specialty chemical and gas storage facilities, contamination-free manufacturing space and offices. The scope involved installation of high-end manufacturing equipment and validation of clean space operation standards. A new chemical receiving dock, protective blast walls around the specialty gas units, complex mechanical, process and gas piping, and electrical infrastructure systems were installed as part of the project.
