The project entailed the fit-out of a shell space within the third floor of an existing, and partially occupied, three story office building in Mechanicsburg, PA. Architecturally the work incorporated high level features, including but not limited to, glazed demountable partitions, factory finished stained solid core wood doors, raised computer flooring, and premium lighting fixtures. But what most set this project apart from most “Office Tenant Fit-outs” was the extensive level and amount of security, A/V and data work incorporated within the space. Two data rooms supported a vast amount and array of data cabling directly wired to independent workstations. Power was backed-up by a UPS, with the UPS and Data Rooms cooled by new CRAC Units. Irrespective of the project’s complexity, all of this work was completed within ten weeks from start of work in the field for a certificate of occupancy and turnover to Deloitte.
