This 7,700 SF fit-out represents the first LEED Gold certification awarded for commercial interiors in the Lehigh Valley. Located in a LEED Gold certified core and shell Class A office building, the space was designed to take advantage of the sustainable design strategies already in place. Locally provided construction and finish materials were selected for their reuse and recycle content, zero or low off-gassing of harmful emissions, high recyclability, durability and longevity. Open studio areas are equipped with a lighting control system that uses a photosensor to achieve daylight harvesting. The ventilation system improves indoor air quality and creates a healthier environment. Another sustainable strategy was to build the reception desk and numerous tables throughout the office from Bethlehem Steel I-beams that were reclaimed.
