Allied Building Corporation was retained by FiNet Technologies (a partnership of Agere Systems ad Furukawa Electric) under a design-build contact to construct a new 100,000 SF optoelectronics manufacturing facility that the partnership wanted to build near Scranton. Allied assembled the team of Spillman Farmer Architcts of Bethlehem (as architect) and N. E. Fisher & Associates of Boyertown (as engineer) for the project. Meeting regularly and working closely together as a team with the owner, we were able to fast-track this project to completion within 6 months and bring it in within the budget of $15 million that was approved.
