574,480SF Warehouse with 121 dock positions and four ramp door openings located in Mickleton, NJ. The building stands 46’-0” tall and was constructed with 9” insulated precast panels, structural steel, joist and deck and an 8’ concrete floor slab using cosinus expansion joints in the speed bays. The warehouse height clearance is 40’-0” and includes fit-out for two 5,125SF Offices. The facility is equipped with a diesel fire pump and K22 ESFR Fire Protection Sprinkler Heads along with EV Charging stations at both ends of the car parking lots.
The building is set on 58 acres and has 193 trailer spaces and 444 car spaces with two basins and two underground stormwater chambers. Democrat Road infrastructure improvements were performed with new water mains from separate township well sources to support both the domestic and fire water needs of the site. Storm water improvements and a new sanitary pump station and force main were also provided including asphalt road widening and overlay. Existing utility poles were removed for new utility service infrastructure with Atlantic City Electric, Verizon and Comcast services.
Coordination efforts were maintained with Gloucester County Conservation District and East Greenwich Township with permits and inspections. Safety Audits were performed weekly and no injuries were reported at the project site during the 13 month period of construction.
