This design-build project was fast-tracked because Sovereign Bank decided to consolidate a number of banking locations due to expiring lease agreements. The challenges of this project were demolishing their existing facility on the site while moving their ongoing operations into a temporary facility at the rear of the property and having to build a new 20,000 SF structure within a very confined space near the corner of one of the busiest intersections in the city of Bethlehem. The first floor is a full-service bank with three drive-through units. A data center and training rooms are in the basement, and executive offices and other bank supporting amenities are on the upper floors.
