LEED-Gold-Certification-LogoAllied Building Corporation was selected by Liberty Property Trust and then retained by Prologis to complete the site development of approximately 100 acres and the construction of three industrial buildings totaling 2.3 million square feet. The sitework consists of all stormwater management systems inclusive of a spray irrigation system, extensive utility infrastructure work including the coordination around a high-pressure petroleum pipeline that runs through the project. The sitework activities are further complicated with the presence of mine wash under the Lot 9 building which was remediated by displacement of over 100,000 cubic yards through a material exchange from elsewhere on the site.  The site has access to a rail spur to provide bulk transportation opportunities for the buildings and its tenants, such as Knoll, Bimbo Bakeries, and Uline. Two of the three buildings (Lots 7 & 9) will be cross-docked distribution facilities each approximately 1,000,000 SF each.  The third building, Lot 8, is a front-loaded distribution facility.  All three buildings will be LEED certified.
